Next Board Meeting: September 15, 2010

The next Board meeting will be held September 15, 2010 at the Hearing Room at the Department of Liquor Licenses and Control located at 800 W. Washington Street, Room 515. Get Directions.

Note: There is security in the building and visitors will have to walk through a security scanner before taking the elevators to the 5th floor. Follow signs on the 5th floor to reach the Hearing Room. The agenda will be posted as soon as possible.

Mission & Vision

The board holds meetings throughout the year, guiding staff in accomplishing the agency's Mission: “Managing and conserving Arizona’s natural, cultural and recreational resources for the benefit of the people, both in our Parks and through our Partners.”

Vision Statement: “Arizona State Parks is indispensable to the economies, communities, and environments of Arizona.”

2010 Meeting Schedule

In most cases, meetings are scheduled on the third Wednesday of the month. The Executive Session begins at 9 am, the Public Meeting begins at 10 am. Phoenix meetings take place in the Board Room at 1300 W. Washington Street. The Board Room is located in the basement of the Arizona State Parks office.   • January 15, 2010 (meeting will be at the Stonehouse Pavillion at the Phoenix Zoo, Get Directions External Link)
  • February 17, 2010 (meeting will be at the Peoria City Council Chambers, 8401 W Monroe St. in Peoria, Get Directions External Link)
  • March 17, 2010 (meeting will be at the Apache Junction City Council Chambers, 300 E. Superstition Blvd. in Apache Junction, Get Directions)
  • April 21, 2010
  • April 29, 2010
  • May 19, 2010
  • June 15 & 16, 2010 (meeting will be at Tonto Natural Bridge State Park in Payson, Get Directions) On Tuesday, June 15, the meeting starts at 1 pm. On Wednesday, June 16, the meeting starts at 9 am
  • July 30, 2010
  • September 15, 2010 (meeting will be at Department of Liquor Licenses and Control, 800 W. Washington Street, Room 515, Get Directions)
  • October 20, 2010 (meeting will be at Picacho Peak State Park in Picacho, Get Directions)
  • November 17, 2010 (meeting will be at the Apache Junction City Council Chambers, 300 E. Superstition Blvd. in Apache Junction, Get Directions)
